Mono wasn’t interested in going on the field trip, but if it went no schoolwork or tv work, then sure. The only LN kid that goes to school on a “regular” basis is Mono, because the Thin Man insists that the boy learn some social skills.Safe, quiet, and they can learn something that will inspire them So, she took her class of 20 to an art museum. The Teacher, despite enjoying inflicting pain, doesn’t want to see her students in danger….Listen, a field trip to anywhere in Pale City is either boring, or dangerous AND boring.Wrote a short about the Four Protags and the Hunter going on a Wilderness Field Trip long ago. But now, it doesn’t feel like he’s either, and certainly not when something catches his interest… He probably was in the beginning of his career. I can’t say for certain he was good or helpful before. If either happen, his obsessiveness takes over and the rest is history. The only time he puts in effort to a treatment is when something changes or catches his interest. But, Otto’s just going through the motions of his job because it’s his job. He has some respect, preferring to address them by a name rather than a number. He’s not bored, disgusted, or empathetic towards them. He’s doing what he can for his patients, but it’s not a wholehearted feeling. He sounded like he was reading over another case than anything warranting an emotional response. Like in the first episode where he first talks about Noone’s file. He’s kinder than the others, yes but I’m more convinced it’s a formality that comes with the job, than out of sympathy.
